Welcome to the comprehensive guide on tracking attendance at your events within CampusGroups! Whether you're using the Mobile App, a computer, or using self-check-in methods, we've got you covered. In this guide, we will walk you through each of the following ways that you can tack attendance at your event:

Tracking Attendance Through the Mobile App

  1. Navigate to the event

  2. Click the three dot menu and select Check in Attendees

  3. On this screen, you have two options

    • Select the QR code icon to scan a user's ticket or their personal QR code found within their profile

    • Manually search for users and check registered attendees in or register new attendees for the event

Tracking Attendance With a Computer

  1. Manage your event

  2. Select Check-in Attendees

  4. Check in attendees by either searching for the user or scanning ID cards using a USB Card Reader (if configured in your instance)

Tracking Attendance With a Self Check-In QR Code

  1. Manage your event

  2. Select Check-in Attendees

  4. Make sure the Activate checkbox is checkedselected

  5. Edit the template if you want to customize the flyer template

  6. Present the QR Code flyer prominently at your event, either on a printed flyer or on a screen allowing users to check-in

  7. Users can self check in by clicking on the QR code icon and select Scan QR Code

Tip

Select the Refresh QR Code every 30 seconds option if you want to ensure that only users physically present at the event can successfully check-in

Tracking Attendance With a Self Check-In Kiosk

  1. Manage your event

  2. Select Check-in Attendees

  4. Click on Kiosk Settings to customize the settings of the Kiosk

  5. Edit your desired Kiosk settings

  6. Click Open Kiosk or Copy Kiosk Link to launch the Kiosk on a device, enabling users to self-check-in

  7. Attendees can self-check-in by either entering their name or swiping their ID card, depending on your configured settings
