Evaluating Your Auto-Response

To evaluate how effective your Auto-Response is performing, revisit Manage > Workflows, and select the name of the sequence.

Here you will find 3 key data points:

Auto-Responses triggered

This is the total number of posts or comments where your Auto-Response message appeared because the post/comment included one or more keywords from that set at the time it was posted.

From here you can link to "View all in Community" to see each of these posts or comments in its original context. This is a great way to gauge how relevant your Auto-Response is when matched on actual posts made by students. Note that only Community Managers can access this link.

*If the total Auto-Responses triggered does not match the number of results in this filter, that could be due to some posts or comments being deleted from Community. Deleting a post does not affect the data points in the sequence's Summary.

Total unique clicks

This is the total number of users who clicked on the Auto-Response card. If you never had your Auto-Response linked to anything, this will always display a count of 0. This data point implies that users found the information relevant and potentially helpful, and decided to engage with it. Note that clicks by Campus Cloud Admins using Community as a Host do not get counted here since Hosts (Services and Organizations) are not the intended audience.

Remove by user

This is the total number of times the author of the post or comment opted to remove the Auto-Response. This data point implies that users are not finding your message to be relevant, or do not want your message connected to their post. You might consider revising the message, or refining the keywords in your set to reduce the number of removals.

Refining Your Auto-Response

At any time you can edit your Auto-Response keywords and/or message to make the pairing more effective. Go to: Manage > Workflows > click on the sequence name > "Editor" tab.
