Email Composer vs Email Builder

As an officer of a group or a admin, you have access to compose beautiful emails and send them to targeted lists of recipients. Within CampusGroups you have two types of emails you can create:

  • Email Composer: The standard format similar to sending email in Gmail or Outlook

  • Email Builder: An advanced drag and drop email builder with customizable templates and dynamic content that is great for newsletters

Email Composer

  1. Manage your group

  2. Select the Emails dropdown and click Compose Email

  6. Choose an email template

  7. Drag and drop the widgets into the body of your email to customize content (Many of the widgets are dynamic and will automatically pull in content from your group, such as a list of upcoming events or the officers of your group)

Drag and drop your widget to the left to insert your email template
  1. Add Clickboxes to the end of your message to highlight events, forms or other dynamic content

  2. Choose your delivery option, preview email and send out.

GIF or other motion graphics/video is not a supported embed format as it presents a security risk and would also likely be stripped out by Mail clients as malicious. The only way to include motion graphics/video is through a URL.
