Communicating With Your Members through Emails, Notifications, and Posts

As an Officer of a Group, it is essential to keep your members engaged and one way to do this is communicating with your members. In CampusGroups, you have three main ways to do this: Emails, Notifications, and the Group Feed. In this article, we'll explore how to use these tools effectively to connect with your members.

Emails and Notifications

  1. Manage your group

  2. Click on the Members dropdown and select Current Members

Note the “Send Notification” and “Send Email” buttons
  3. Filter your audience

  4. Use the checkboxes to select your audience

  5. Select either Send Notification or Send Email

Notifications will be sent as a push notification to users' mobile app, and also appear in the notification list on web.

If you copy/paste a valid URL into the message, users will be able to click/tap the URL when viewing the notification from the web or mobile device. A valid URL begins with http:// or https://. This is supported by mobile app versions starting with v2025.6.2500.

Viewing Sent Communications

You can view the list of all emails and notifications sent by you and your fellow Officers of your Group by visiting the menu items for Emails and Notifications, respectively.

This includes notifications sent to Contacts, as well as Attendees of your Group’s Events.

Group Feed

Within your group, Officers can create Channels where members can communicate with each other. Simply navigate to your Group Page, select your Channel and post!
