Dynamic Group and Rule Configurations

This article will demonstrate how you can view a tile based on the type of rule: Custom tiles based Desktop or Mobile view.

  1. You’ll need to create a dynamic group first. To do that you’ll need to navigate to Identity/User Management > Groups and select Add.

  2. Fill in the name of the dynamic group within Display Name and select Dynamic for the group type.

Rules section will appear below were you’ll need to add your rile configurations.

3. To add a rule you’ll need to select Add rule and set your configurations.If you require rule to display a particular Platform then you’ll need the following configuration.

You can customise the rule type to roles,groups or IP addresses. In this case Platform = Web; this will allow the role to be targeted to web users.

 

4. Once you’ve completed the rule section, go ahead and select Submit. You’ll now need to navigate to the tile settings and set the audience to the dynamic group you created.

 

Once changes has been submitted you’ll need to sign out and sign back to myday for all the changes to be reflected.
