Save time and standardize event planning by using the Event Templates feature. With event templates, you can both create campus-wide templates or templates just within your individual groups. Follow this guide to learn how to do so!
Manage your group
Navigate to events and select Create Event
Configure the event settings you would like set for the template
Navigate to Advanced Options and select the Event Template dropdown
Select whether the template available to just For this group or Platform-wide
You need Admin permissions to access the Platform-wide setting
Save your event
This will save the event as a template and no creation of an actual event will take place
Once event templates are created, users will have the option to select the template or and blank event template
If you want to force users to select a template when creating an event, you can deactivate the blank event template by navigating to Admin > Settings > General Settings > Events > set Deactivate blank event template to Yes
