Using The QR Code Scanner

To use the scanner

The scanner is used to mark your presence at an Event or Service where a QR code for check-in/check-out or both is displayed. You may also use the QR code scanner for Covid contact tracing requirements on your campus.

Returning to Campus with the Campus App

If you are returning from the pandemic to campus for in-person classes, you may be required to complete a daily health screening Form (consider linking to Forms overview if possible) and then do contact tracing throughout the day with the Campus App QR code scanner.

Here is how:

  1. Log into the app with your username and password.

  2. Make sure notifications are enabled in the app by clicking the bell-shaped icon at the bottom of the screen and then the preferences icon at the top right:

  3. As you move around the campus, you will be required to check in to buildings and rooms by scanning QR codes posted on doors and walls as you enter.

  4. Check-in by clicking the box with the line through it at the top left of the app and scanning the QR code in the room. (**)

  5. Be sure to look for and scan QR codes in every area you visit on campus. In case of an illness, this will help us to contact the people who have also been in those areas. Be sure to scan the codes again as you leave the room to check out.

(**) ALL QR CODES MUST ALWAYS BE SCANNED USING YOUR CAMPUS APP ONLY TO CHECK IN PROPERLY.
