Campus Cloud 1.10.5 is now live. This release includes new functionality when posting and commenting in Community.  

🌟 Attach Forms and Resources to a post/comment in Community

We know that students are using the Community space in their mobile app to ask questions. In order to better direct them to helpful resources and information to answer their questions, Campus Cloud now makes it possible to attach deep-links to content within a post or comment.  

Since this feature is supported by the Campus App version released in 2022 (v2022.09.1900), most schools should automatically see the new editor. If you do not see options to "attach campus content" to a post, reach out to your Campus Success Consultant and we'll make sure this new functionality gets enabled for you.

The rich-text editor comes with additional enhancements to the posting experience. In addition to attaching campus content, it also allows you to:

• provide alt text for images you upload to a post/comment

• preview Youtube videos within Campus Cloud simply by pasting in the URL

• navigate the editor via keyboard shortcut for better accessibility

Version 2024.02.1900 of Campus App is available, and now our API supports the following functionality:  

🌟 Ability to scan QR codes for check-in using your device's camera

Your students no longer need to know which mobile app to open when using QR codes to check into an event or service provider. Now they can simply scan the QR code using their device's camera, and the universal link will automatically open their Campus App (or direct them to a landing page where they can download your school's Campus App).

We will be enabling this for schools who have updated their app to this latest version, but if you'd like to test it out today, reach out to your Campus Success Consultant to get access now.

This version of Campus App for Android now supports API level 34 (the latest Android version).

This version of Campus App for iOS now supports XCode 15.
