Why do I have to scan QR Codes to track my movement?

Scanning QR codes lets your institution notify you if you were in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID19.

What precautions do you take to protect my data?

We follow industry standards to protect your data, and we build software with this in mind.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored in the United States of America, except if you are attending a Canadian school. Data for Canadian schools can be stored either in Canada or the United States, depending on school requirements.

Why do you need push notification permission?

Your institution will keep you updated through notifications, while asking you to fill in your health information prior to accessing campus.

Who owns my data? Is my data shared?

Scanning a QR code through the campus app creates data for your school to use in safely reopening campus. The data belong to your school, who can use it as they see appropriate to further the goals of campus safety and containment of COVID19. This may include sharing information with other agencies, at the discretion of the school.
