Joining a Group

Whether you are looking to join a club, organization, department or any other group, you can do do so by following these steps:

  1. Click on the Groups dropdown

  2. Select All Groups

  3. Find the groups you would like to join and click on the checkbox

  4. Click the Join button at the bottom of the screen

  5. You will also see a Join Group button located on each group’s page if they are currently accepting members

Depending on the group settings, you may be automatically added to the group. However, some groups require validation, meaning that an officer needs approve of your membership.

Want to leave a group? No problem! Follow these steps to remove yourself as a member of a group:

  1. Navigate to the group page of the group you would like to leave

  2. Click on the More icon

  3. Select Leave Group

That being said, before you leave your group, if you are just looking to limit the your notifications from that group, you can edit them in your Notification Settings.
