Validating New Members

By default, users who sign up for groups are not members until validated. They cannot access the group until approved. This article explains how to manually and automatically approve new members.

Manually validating new members

  1. Manage your group

  2. Click the Members dropdown and select Current Members

  3. Click the Members pending validation link to see members awaiting validation.

  4. Check the Validation link

Automatically Validating New Members

  1. Manage your group

  2. Click on the Dashboard dropdown and select Settings

  3. Click on the Access & Privacy tab

  4. Navigate to the the Auto Validation dropdown and select how you would like to automaticall validate new members

  5. Click Save
