Creating a Track

Tracks are the overarching theme that can consist of multiple Checklists. A Track will enable you to create a custom curriculum and assign users to complete the requirements. Tracks are a great way to connect with users to enrich an outside-of-the-classroom experience. Follow these steps to create a Track.

  1. Manage your group

  2. Click on the Member Success dropdown and select Tracks & Checklists

  3. Click on Create Track

  4. Here you will be able to:

    • Provide a name and description for the track

    • Choose a color and icon to brand you track

    • Assign your track to specific users

    • Make the track visible to assignees

    • Include a start date for when the track should be visible to assignees

  5. Click Save

  6. After you have created a checklist, click Select Track to choose which track with which the checklist should be associated

  7. The checklist will no longer standalone and will be associated with the track you’ve selected

  8. Click on the More icon and select Assign or Batch Assign to allocate the Track to Users

    • Clicking on Assign will allow you to choose which population of the users you’d like to have access to your Track

    • Clicking on Batch Assign or Batch Un-Assign will allow you to paste a list of email addresses or ID numbers to give or take away access to the Track (Users must already be in the CampusGroups platform with the matching email or NetID)

  9. On your main Tracks & Checklists page, you will be able to view the overall completion percentage of the Track and Preview what it will look like to assignees
